This day is the only day in week I with my housemate/best friend Hyerin finish school at the same time. After school we with Emily went to ‘The London Dungeon’, there is a place like a ghost house, but not scare. It’s confrmity with York that one. If you want to know more, you can visit the website at the bottom. Emily went home first, I with Hyerin had dinner outside. We visited London Tower Bridge, a Jazz festival in there, it was some Jazz band playing in their live. When we were finding a restaurant, it was a fraud caught us. A notice wrote dinner any 2 for 10 pounds, we through we could choose 2 dishes, then it would be 5 pounds for each. When we sat down, the waiter told us, any 2 is mean 1 starter, 1 main dish. And we weren’t allowed to order 1 set to share, finally, we spent 18 pounds for this dinner.

Finished school, I went back home directly. When I was writting my blog, I saw a mouse across out of my room!! I through I made a mistake, but half hour later, I saw it again!! I felt dirty when I arrived this house, but I never think I would saw a mouse in here. I was very shock.

17 Jul 2007 (Tue)
I was late my first class in London, because I couldn’t catch the time of the train. In the class my pather all spoke Spanish, I couldn’t partake with them. I discoverd almost my classmate are Spanish, the most shock thing is they spoke their langue in the class, the teacher won’t say anything!!
I went to British Museum with Emily, there was very big Museum. And we had a tea, then back home

6 Jul 2007 (Mon)
First day started my life in London, we went to school in the morning. We waited the Arabic girl a long time, but I didn’t feel her was harry up, so we went first. It is a far way from the station, some of us was spent a lot of time to buy a ticket. The staff told us there hadn’t weekly or monthly ticket, then we asked him, we have student price or not, he told us need a photo and 20 pounds to make a card for it. I made it and got the student price for the tickets. But It was still expensive, return tickets 9 pounds!

It was a test from school in the first day, we did it in a place like a church, it’s totally different with Manchester school. I think it’s because too many student, that why we couldn’t do the exam in iLab room. After the exam, we had a meeting in the same place, a teacher asked where were we come from, I said Hong Kong. After the meeting, a girl came to ask me am I from Hong Kong, she is from Hong Kong too. She was very happy to see me, because she couldn’t find anyone from Hong Kong. We went out shopping and had lunch together, we ate pasta and walked around Oxford Circus. And back to school at 4:30pm again to get our time table for next day, we all have different time table. I received Takao’s call when I was on the way back to school, we decided had dinner together tonight. We met at Waterloo station, we ate Japanese food, it was very good, and there is one waiter very handsome who is Japanese.
We finished at 10:30pm, and I took underground and train back to home. I was too studip, I was playing Sudoku game and miss got off the train!! I tired go to the opposite side to wait the train back to my home station, but I couldn’t see any infomation at the station. I asked someone in there, they said my train was the last train, I need to take a 108 bus back home. When I arrived the bus stop, the bus just came, there was a black people–Andrew who was going to the same place with me. But the driver told us, our place bus is opposite side. At this moment, there was our bus arrived the opposite bus stop, but it was a long banister between two way. It’s impossible across over there on time, when we arrived that bus stop, we saw the time table, before that bus was the last!
Luckily, Andrew know I got lost, he help me a lot, he really really kindly. We are in different place, but he got off the bus with me and brought me to the train station. I throught I knew how to back home from the station, but I counld!! Andrew suggested me to take a taxi, but I didn’t want to spend my money on it, so I maintain no. It was started raining, and Andrew left me, I need to find my way by myself. I asked many people, at last I arrived home around 2:00am. Because I hadn’t the key, so I rang the bell, sorry for woke everyone up. Sorry! When I back to my room, my roommate moved already.

15 Jul 2007 (Sun)
1:30pm flight to London, Farah was cry when I left, it made me sure I will back to Manchester again to visit them again.
Arrived airport, my luggage was over weight!! I need to take out my laptop from my luggage, and hand carried it. Just 1 hour, I arrived London, I took a taxi because I canceled the pick up service at the ariport. I was regret I did that, it was too expensive to my new host family, around 103 pounds(HKD $1607), but the pick up service just HKD $998.
My new host family is in Woolwich Arsenal, there has 4 persons in the house. They are Ashley and her 2 children, 1 boy 1 girl and her friend. We had 6 students in the house: 1 Italian, 1 Spanish, 1 Arabic, 1 Turkish, 1 Korean and me, my roommate is a Italian. Ashley with her sister drove we around the place of home, and taught we how to go to train station. Our first dinner was Spanish sausages and potatos, the sausages was too hard, I couldn’t eat it well, I don’t understand why Spanish like this food.

My last day in Manchester. Nothing in the morning, but I went out at night. Got some info. from my teacher–Rich, they would has live today, but actually I bought the ticket for live show tonight–The Cardinals Miss. Julian rang me in afternoon, asked me to go out, so I invited him to watch Rich’s live with me. First plan was go to live house early and sell the ticket, finally I spent too much time and left home late, so I hadn’t enough time to do that. I watsed my money again, because I really wanted to watch my teacher’s live. It was in a bar– Dry bar, there has two stages, one is in the basement. Their live was in the basement stage. His band name is Generalissimos, they only have 3 members, he is drummer, another teacher is bassist and vocalist, 1 more man is guitarist and vocalist. Skill not bad, but the song’s feel a little bit old. There had another bands live too, they were main stage: The Crayolas, Geeko, The Volantes, Dirty Cicus, basement: Bandism, Generalissimos, Onions, Air Cav. Onions is my teacher’s favour band in Manchester, and I watched their and Air Cav live before in Manchester Festival.

Long time no watch movie–Harry Potter. I felt it’s quite boring, so I didn’t watch any more. It’s 3D movie this time which was the reason I with Yuka watched it again. Still boring, but the 3D part was quite good. After the movie, we met Julia and 千尋. It was the last day for Victor and George, they went to their farewell party, but we bought the movie tickets already so we didn’t go. Julia brought we to a bar, but there was nobody, after half hour, we decided to change the place. Julia likes a boy who was in that bar, so she stayed in there; 千尋 was back to the farewell party; I with Yuka went to Pure clubbing again. I got a new friend this night too, West and Adam (Adam again??)

12 Jul 2007 (Thu)
EF school party again, this time was in North Bar. Before I went to party, I watched Bat for Lashes live in Manchester same live house, it was very good. I back to home changed my clothes, make up, then go to party with 千尋. When we arrived bus stop, the last bus departured already, we only can take a taxi to there. We knew Yasu would go to the party soon, so we called him to take a taxi with, it will be more cheap. At first, I didn’t plan to go, but almost my friends said this is our last party in Manchester, so I went.

I had dinner at Hani’s home, there was many people, a lot of Korean, 1 Japanese and my roommate, because Young Jo brother and his friend came to today. Young Jo’s brother has different face with him, his brother better than him. Sorry Young Jo, I just tell the true.

10 Jul 2007 (Tue)
We had breakfast in hotel, and we went to airport again, our flight is at 11:00am. Arrived Liverpool it was around 12:15am, and we took the bus back to Manchester. One hour later, we arrived Manchester city center, my lesson was start at 2:05pm. I took a bus to school immediately, but my classmate–Victor wasn’t come with me. I was late a little bit, when I met my class, teacher told me we would go out after 10 mins later. Oh! my god!! I carried a heavy luggage, u told me our whole class go out now!!! We went to Museum of Science & Industry, there’s 5 different topic halls: Main Building, 1830 Warehouse, Station Building, Power Hall and Air & Space hall. Every hall has 2 floor. First thing when I went into the museum, I put my luggage into the locker. 1 of my classmate–Hector who put his bag to my locker too, sure they key was keep by me. When we finished and went to take my luggage, we could see him. At At last I need to bring his bag to my home too!! I added 1 more ‘friend’ to my heavy luggage ToT. I had first time Chinese food in Manchester with Kicheong.

9 Jul 2007 (Mon)
It’s my last day in Paris. From morning was a bad start, I asked they wake me up after they finished the bathroom. But after I used bathroom, they still in bed, they didn’t want to leave the bed. I asked them to hurry up, and I knocked the next room door. they were still sleeping! They told me they wouldn’t eat breakfast, then we went ourself. When we arrived the restaurant, it was closed, we late 5 mins. I tried to find another place to eat, but I wasn’t sucessful, becuase need out hotel was no restaurant. I said I’m very hunry, I wanted went to another place to find a restaurant, maybe city center. George said he went to tell them, but we waited at lobby a long time. We went to upstair saw why, he was in their room waiting for they, but that 2 boys action very slowly. We went to city center, they asked me what I want to eat. I told them I didn’t want to eat bread any more, but finally that said went to McDonld!!! Oh, my god~ They came to Paris ate McDonld! I said no strongly, at last they went to McDonld, and I went to some restaurant ate a pancake and a lovely caramel milkshake. After breakfast we went to Versailles. There is too big, it’s impossible to walk a round. We wanted to rent a car to drive a round, but they all under 23 years old, and I haven’t driver’s license. We only could take a mini-train to visit around. It was raining, so the train seat was wet. When I found a good seat which was dry, Victor asked me: Did you buy the ticket?? I asked back to him: You didn’t buy my ticket? I need to get off the train to buy ticket, and he took my good seat!! The train will stop every visit point, you can get off the train to visit. First stop is Petit Trianon, there is a granden which all are becautiful flowers. Second stop is Grand Trianon, the third stop is Grand Canal. There has a big rive, you can row a boat in there. They asked me go with them or not, I answered they whatever, I don’t know why I made this studip decision. I can play it anytime in Hong Kong, and it wasn’t cheap. Suddently, it was pouring, we all soaked. On the back way to the train staion, we were sharking. Luckily, it is a hot drink machine in the station. Megu back to hotel first, we went to shopping. I said I want go to Hard Rock Cafe to buy a T-shirt from Paris shop. After the bought what they want, Victor went to another place, we went to Hard Rock Cafe, we would meet in hotel. George said he knew the place, so we followed him, but he was wrong. We tried to find out its location, on the way George said maybe we need to take a taxi to hotel. I told them if we were hurry like that, I could cancel it, but he keep maintain we should have to try.
After we bought, we were hurry back to hotel by train, we took all our luggage and took a train to airport again. Suddently George
asked we to get off the train, he told us the check in counter would be close at 9:10pm, and it was 8:45pm, so we need to take a taxi. When we arrived airport, the counter closed already. Even we staff to help us, they just said they only can help us to change our flight to tomorrow, and we had to pay 52 Euro ($605 HKD). We had no choose, had we? We spent more money to stay 1 more night hotel, it was very expensive. But I was very lucky, because Megu took a room already, and he told me there can stay 1 more person. So I don’t need to pay, otherwise I think I will stay in airport. Thank you Megu.
In the other hand, I missed Rebbca’s live in Manchester, I wasted the money, time, ticket………….

8 Jul 2007 (Sun)
We visited the Cathedral of Chartres, it was very big and beautiful, even inside. There were some token coins machines, I bought some for me and my friends.
We visited Louvre Museum too, which was the shot of the film "The Davinci Code" that triangle. There was too big, we could’t finish our visit within one day!!! From 1st floor, ‘Richelieu’, ‘Denon’ and ‘Sully’. The most famous ‘The mona Lisa’ is in 2nd floor ‘Denon’, ‘The Venus de Milo’ and ‘The Winged Victory’ are in 1st floor ‘Sully’. We had late lunch (early dinner?) in a fast food shop, they ordered some pizza or pannis, I ordered a salom and cheese pancake, and caramel pud. It was quite expensive, around $85 HKD, but it was good. We went to Eiffiel Tower again, this time we paid and went up. It is 3 floors for different price, sure we paid for the top. George is dread for highest, he was very afraid. At night, we went to Louvre Museum again for took a photos in the night view, it is very different. After dinner, they keep walking to find a place for Paris famous ‘Lido’ or ‘Moulin Rouge’ show. I was very tired, but I want to savvy, that’s why when Megu asked me on train, if I wanted back to hotel, he would back with me, but I said no. We found more than 1 hour, I felt something wrongheaded. I asked Megu weren’t they know the address? He said definitively they didn’t kwon, that’s why he asked me back to hotel. He was been to London with them, so he knew they always like that. I was studip!!!! I asked him should we back to hotel now, finally, we back to hotel first by ourselves. In the midnight, I was woke up when they came back, I asked who was the show, they told me they only took the photos out of the shop!! I back to hotel first was a good chose.

7 Jul 2007 (Sat)
Paris–we were going to visit you today!! We variety in Nero coffee shop of city center at 9:00am. I went with George, Megu, Victor and Jeff, they all speak Spanish!! When I met them, Victor just carried a plastic bag, hahaa. We took the bus to livepool airport, arrived Paris around 4:00pm. We spent much time for found the way to the hotel, I didn’t understand what were they doing. Asked these, tried that, but couldn’t get any decide. Finally we bought a 3 days ticket for the train.
After we took a rest in the hotel, we visited Champs Elysees before we had dinner. It was very beautiful, but not special, just a buliding. First, we tried to find a French restaurant, but we just could found a few, and they were too expensive. We ate in a Italian restaurant (There were more than French restaurant), we only ordered a coke and a pasta, it was too expensive!!!! Only the pasta, I paid near $200 HKD!!!!! After that, we went to Eiffel Tower for took photos at night. Because it was too late, so we couldn’t visit upstair of the tower. On the way back to home, Megu wanted go to toliet. We found the public toliet, it was very clear because it will wash everytime after every person came out. We were waiting for a long time, but we couldn’t open the door. We read the instruction of it, there said it closed at 1:00am everyday. That’s mean the guy before Megu used was the last time, He really bad luck.

I sent my blog to my main teacher–Richard.
At midnight 3:00am, suddently I was woke up by Farah!!! She told me, she need to go out and wanted me to go out with her. I went out with her, she knew her boyfriend was very close with some girl in bar, so we drove to his working place. (He is working in the bar) Farah was very angry when she saw he talked with another girl very happy. She shout at him in the car. We back home at 4:30am.

Jae came back to Korea this morning, but I have the lesson in the morning, so I didn’t go to air-port with him.

It was a last dinner with Jae in Manchester, I asked Kara to come. She bought a book and a card, we left some message and sign in the card. Jae was very happy for that.
